Jhasmine Watson appointed to Springfield Little Theatre Associate Board
Rosie member Jhasmine Watson has been named to the Springfield Little Theatre's Associate Board of Directors.
Watson serves as the Manager of Operations for Care to Learn, a Missouri non-profit that provides immediate funding to meet emergent needs in the areas of health, hunger, and hygiene so every student can be successful in school. Outside of her role at Care to Learn Watson also serves on the Springfield Regional Arts Counci's Artsfest Committee and is a member of the Shriner Lady's organization.
The Springfield Little Theatre organization was founded in 1934 and purchased what was known as the Landers Theatre in 1970. The theatre is the largest civic theatre operation in Missouri and one of the largest in mid-America, producing a mainstage season of nine plays and musicals that are attended by some 60,000 Southwest Missourians annually.
