CASA of Southwest Missouri

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Southwest Missouri is currently seeking interested individuals for their Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors for CASA of Southwest Missouri promotes the mission and vision of our organization. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) recruits, trains, and support community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children in foster care. The Board of Directors must maintain an active interest in the purpose and activities of CASA; regularly attend and participate in board meetings and agency functions; actively participate in fundraising efforts as a volunteer or contributor; participate on committees as reasonable; and actively support the work and purposes of CASA, such as serving as a goodwill ambassador for CASA with the community. Take a stand for children in foster care, and join us!

Requirements: Attend at least 8 meetings a year, participation on a committee as reasonable, and support CASA events.

Meeting time and location: 8:00 - 9:00 am on the 4th Tuesday of each month at the CASA office, located at 1111 S Glenstone Ave.
